We've been singing an amazing song in church lately. It's worth your time to listen to it and to ponder the lyrics. Lots of songs praise God for something He has done ("Great is Thy Faithfulness"). Other songs discuss the attributes of God ("Holy, Holy, Holy"). Others discuss our reaction to God ("We Fall Down"). And all these are great things to sing about. But I've seen only a few songs that just simply state the Gospel message. And this song does that, and then steps back, having nothing left to do but say thanks. It's hauntingly clear and beautiful.
